About Me
My name is Doug Hunt and I am a Public
Relations student at Niagara College. More importantly, I am a keen aficionado
of fine independent breakfast restaurants. Having travelled all over the world,
I have been able to sample breakfast in several very different cultures. From
the mountain huts of West Africa, quaint streets of Northern Ireland, or bright
snow covered buildings of Sweden, I have been lucky to not only see the world,
but also to eat a wide array of prepared breakfasts along the way. As a St.
Catharines resident, I feel fairly well informed about numerous ‘breakfast
spots’ in the Niagara Region. This blog aims to explore different breakfast
restaurants in various parts of Niagara. This should suffice in quenching my
need to travel, (if only to Welland or Niagara Falls), as well as my keen
desire to eat and simultaneously not cook for myself. Breakfast is a social
time and I hope to convey environmental observations as well as provide the
reader with an overview of the restaurant and experience they can expect should
they also want a warm (not home cooked) breakfast.
